our humble abode

entrance

Technically, it’s just slipped past midnight, but this is actually Photo Project Day 13 (Saturday). We just got back from our nightly prowl around the suburbs. This is the front of the house. It looks stark and lonely at the moment.

But my plant is still alive.

  1. I’m glad you mentioned the plant!

  2. You know that whole little side it is just screaming out to be filled with big pots full of plants and a garden seat that looks like you are supposed to sit on it.
The really neat part is it gives heaps of cover from the street to hide deliveries that you have ordered form the web so they don’t get nicked while you’re at work πŸ˜‰

Hope you guys are well πŸ™‚

  3. Heh, you’re right Lea… I’ve actually toyed with the idea of using some kind of screening to completely close it off, so I can open the front doors and have a little garden area for my two indoor-only cats. But there’s so much to do… one day!

  4. Friends of mine have a cat run outside that they lock them in overnight (err, they lock *the cats* in it, that is ;)) .
I can’t decide if this is cruel or clever. Depends on the cat, I suppose.

But I know what you mean by so much to do. We’ll get this place painted one of these days… πŸ™
