Super Mario Bros on Nintendo Wii
All I can say is wow.
Super Mario has to be one of the greatest platform games ever written. Dave went and bought it online through the Wii-thing and I’m instantly taken back to about 1989 or something. Fan-tastic. The scary things are that a) I can still remember where all the hidden coins are and b) the levels with the big drops everywhere still make my stomach churn when I’m jumping over them.

At Griffith I once walked into the office and started singing the theme music (da-da da da-da-DA! da… doot, doot, doot, doot dootdootdoot….). A minute later had everyone in the office belting it out. Funny.
I’m seriously thinking about taking the plunge and buying my first VC title. Not sure I need yet another version of Super Mario Bro.s but then again, what Nintendo console is complete without it.
I’m still waiting for them to release some of the TurboGrafx titles for the VC over here. I haven’t checked lately but last I saw, we’re the only region not to have em yet. Bomberman ’93 on the TurboGrafx is one of the best versions of the game ever and I’ve been holding out for that’n for ages now 🙁
